Nebraska VS Purdue Watch Party #COTN#GBR#HUSKERS

Hi Husker Fans,

Last week was a total disappointment. But we are Nebraska; We will be back. Coach Frost and his staff members are working on fixing the issues of all three phases. Both lines must step up so that we can win the game. 

The Huskers apparently had a good practice this morning. Coach Frost emphasis on having the same quality of practices through the week. 

This week Huskers return to memorial stadium to take on a Purdue team that took down a ranked Boston College past weekend. Huskers can not afford finding themselves 2 TDs behind mid of first quarter. I hope the team bounce back with urgency of making a bowl game. 

We will have all three watch locations as usual. Game is at 2:30. I will be at Sam's Boat this week. GBR!!!!

Game 4 Watch Party #GBR#COTN#HUSKERS

Hi Huskers Fans,

It is the time for league play. This week our team travels to Ann Anbor to play in the big house. The game is going to be exciting and fun to watch. Huskers can not afford another slow starts, if we want to take the first W home. QB Martinez did practice today. I hope he can play the game. The team were practicing very hard today from the media report. Michigan might be better than the two teams we played. But they are beatable.  

I personally still feel the AP poll threw the title to Michigan back to 1997 when we should be the in disputable national champion. Of course, medias love Michigan no matter what. I would love to see we beat Michigan this week.  

We will have all three watch locations for this week. One thing to keep in mind is that Pecan street festival happens Saturday downtown. Parking definitely should be one thing to think about.

Update on Huskers Football

Hi Husker Fans, 

I hope everyone had a good week. Apparently, there were many teams opened up for our make up game on the east coast due to hurricane Florence. One of them is UCF whose game is cancelled and has the same bye as Nebraska. We will wait and see. I hope we do not need to make up that game. I also hope we are in the championship game in December instead of a make up game. 

QB status is a game day decision. Adrian did not practice this week with the team. Frost and staff had submitted video evidence of CU LB twisting Martinez's leg after he was down. We will see what happens. The team is very upbeat about the coming game. We will see coach Frost's first victory this week. BTW, seven defenders were awarded with BLACK SHIRT!!!!!!!!!!

I encourage south central fans to make Lavaca street S Lamar first.

Last week there were some complaints about Waller Creek's situation. The owner actually apologized to our fans for last week's confusion and inconvenient. I have communicated with the owner. She praise our fans' action and class (Of course, we are Nebraska; The greatest fans in NCAA FB). She told me on Tuesday that she might cut tie with the other team that had conflicts with us at Waller Creek Pub. She call me earlier today that they cut the tie already. I will not mentioned the other team's name. But the other team apparently went back on Sunday and caused a lot of issue for the management.  

From now on, the only time we could have some conflicts at Waller will be Clemson, UGA and us play at the same time. However, we have more people show up than Clemson.  We will take the lounge room and Clemson will take the bar in that case. This weekend all three team is playing at the same time. We will have the lounge room. Clemson take the bar. Otherwise, we will have the lounge and the bar. We sure can pack all three locations. All three games play at same time this week due to hurricane Florence moved Clemson and UGA game time to 11.

Week 3 watch party

Hi Huskers Fans, 

It is disappointing to lose the game, but our team definitely shown great sign of progressing and different mentality.The fumbles and penalties are somewhat because of inexperience and lack of the game from last week. The defense is aggressive and offense definitely put up a lot of yards. Freshman QB had more than 110 yds of rushing and 187 passing before he left the game. We hope he can be back for Tory's game, before we head to Ann Arbor. 

We had great turn out at South Lamar Lavaca St Bar. Several folks are willing to help out at South Lamar location. I have listed their email down below. Feel free to talk to them or email this address for any needs and feedback. Let's pack all our locations again this week. 

I was told there were about 20 people showed up at Waller Creek Pub. We will keep the group there for the season. I encourage central fans go to Lacava St Bar. But feel free to stay at Waller too. 

This  week's game is against Troy. Troy is currently 1-1; loss to Boise State but defeated FL AM. Huskers should be able to improve their record to 1-1 after this game. Game kickoff at 11AM. I will be at Sam's Boat for game 3. Come out and join your fellow Huskers fan for the first win of the season.

Dear Huskers Fans

Finally we can watch some Huskers football!!!!!!

Important update:

We are adding third location for south downtown people at Lavaca Street Bar S. Lamar location. Sam's Boat and Waller Creek will still there for our watch party. We are adding this location to address the challenges at Waller Creek. 

I have communicated with the owner at Waller Creek Pub several times. However, they are really tight on space and want us to give priority to UWV group there. I heard last week we have many fans that were sitting outside. With the rainy forecast and cooler weather coming, it will not work. Plus this week, we will have conflicts with UWV game. Manager wants our fans to move to bar area and give the lounge room to UWV when they show up at 5:00 which is unacceptable.

I acted quickly to add Lavaca Street Bar S. Lamar location to our watch party. I encourage our fans who live close by to go to Lavaca Street Bar instead of Waller. 

For fans do not care much about stay at Waller Creek bar area, feel free to stay. Just be aware that Waller Creek Pub is going be Bar area only for our fans when conflicts with UWV. 

Instead of going to Waller Creek for Colorado game, I will be at Lavaca Street S. Lamar location.

Watch Party for Game 2 #GBR#HUSKERS

Hi Husker Fans, "Waiting is the the hardest part." No doubt the atmosphere was great last night. Every Husker fan is looking forward to the new era under Coach Frost. Who will think the storm will steal the thunder of the season opening game.  The Akron game is officially postponed and has no sight for rescheduling. Huskers will open the season next week against an old foe, Colorado. I personally think that is actually more interesting. Who does not want the first win for season to be running over the Buffaloes.  We will gather at Sam's Boat and Waller Creek Pub for the game. Kickoff is at 2:30 PM. I will be at Waller Creek Pub for this game with some merchandise for sale to raise money for our student scholarship.  Last night we had a great turnout at Sam's Boat. We had raffles and board game. The board game buyin will be extended to the Colorado game.  Glad to see so many fans there. I took some pictures for the local chapter facebook page. Please join the facebook group below.  Teri will be collecting due for the chapter at Colorado's game at Sam's Boat. Please support her effort to raise money for scholarship.
