This week it's another top ranked opponent on the road. The Huskers travel to Columbus, Ohio to face the 6th ranked Ohio State Buckeye's. Although it was a disappointing loss last weekend at Wisconsin, the Nebraska team showed that they can play with anybody, taking that game to overtime. Once again, the Huskers are a big underdog, but their ability this year to hang tough can keep them in the game. The national pollsters are recognizing this ability and keeping the Big Red high in the rankings.
We will have watch parties at both Third Base Northwest and Waller Creek Pub House. The crowds have been enthusiastic showing their Big Red Nation spirit. We will likely have a raffle, Husker merchandise available for sale, and will be passing around the board for your chance to win at Thirdbase NW. Next week, the Huskers are back in Lincoln for their game against the 6-2 Minnesota Gophers, who are challenging Nebraska for the Big 10 West lead. The game kicks off at 6:30 PM Saturday, November 12.
