Nice to see a Husker win by a wide margin last weekend. Time to see more of that. This week the Northwestern Wildcats come to Lincoln for Nebraska's next game. Early predictions show the Huskers to be a favorite. Good chance of much needed rain here in Austin, but the forecast for Lincoln is sunny. Be nice to see the Husker outlook to be sunny also. The Wildcats are 5-2 so far this season and 1-2 in the Big 10. Defensively, Northwestern has performed better than the Huskers this season. Offensively, the Huskers have gained more yards. Should be a great match up.
Big Announcement: We have partnered with Waller Creek Pub House to host an alternative watch location for those of you that have been requesting a downtown location. The Waller Creek Pub House is located at 603 Sabine Street, a half block north of 6th street very near I-35. They will have an area reserved for our group just to the right as you enter the front door. There will be drink specials along with a selection of bar food.There is a paid parking lot just around the corner to the north. Check it out if this is what you have been looking for. If you attend at this location, please send us feed back on your experience.
We will be holding our regular party at Third Base Northwest and likely will have a raffle, plus the board with a chance of winning cash. Our Husker merchandise will be available for sale. The Third Base Staff will be there to serve your food and beverages.
