Very tough loss last weekend. Nebraska did a good job coming back from 10 points down, only to lose it in the final second of play on a BYU Hail Mary pass. A chance for the young Huskers to grow from this teaching moment.
This week's opponent in Lincoln, South Alabama, won their first game over the Gardner-Webb Bulldogs, 33-23. The Jaguers have a veteran squad with all their returning players and the ones that transferred from UAB after their program shutdown. Nebraska has a few players out with injuries. The running game for Nebraska looked good with the greater emphasis in the second half. Nebraska is heavily favored in this game, and hopefully can serve as a tune up for next weeks game at Miami.

HUSKER VOLLEYBALL TEAM in town last weekend.
The Husker fell in their match with #3 Texas last weekend in 5 sets in a very close finish. Saturday, they made a few adjustments and came back from 2 sets down to win in 5 sets versus #11 Oregon. This is going to be a very good team.

Next week's game versus Miami is at 2:30 pm on Saturday, September 17, 2015. This will be the Husker's first road game of the season and will be another big test for the team.
