New Season, New Coach, Great Game in Lincoln to kick off the 2015 season. The opponent is BYU. We are back at Third Base Northwest and working on plans for an additional location more central to Austin. Location suggestions are still being taken and volunteers to help organize. Thanks for your help.
Saturday's game is the debut for new coach, Mike Riley. It's a new team and a new approach with a different attitude. Mike is famous for bringing the best out of his players.
Come on out and join us in the fun. We will have a raffle, a board with a chance of winning cash, and merchandise for sale. We have a selection of new merchandise brought in over the summer, so check it out. And enjoy the great service from the Third Base staff.

HUSKER VOLLEYBALL TEAM in town this weekend.
The Husker Volleyball team is in town, this weekend Sept 4 and 5, playing in the Vert Challenge Volleyball Tournament. Nebraska plays Texas on Friday, Sept. 4 at 6 pm and Oregon on Saturday, Sept 5 at 5 pm. Both games are at Gregory Gym, 2101 Speedway Austin, TX 78712 on the UT campus. This is an outstanding bargain for supporting your Huskers great Volleyball program via a short drive to the UT campus. Many of our members have enjoyed these local matches in the past. Both Texas and Nebraska always have great teams and this should be one of the better match-ups of the year for both programs. Texas is currently ranked #3 and Nebraska is tied for #4. Always a great battle between these legendary programs. Saturday's match against #11 Oregon also promises to be an early test for both Universities.
Tickets are available online texassports.com, click on "Volleyball" and "Buy Tickets". General Admission tickets are available at $10 each. Typically you can order online and print your tickets off the website.
