After a week off, the Huskers return to the field at Memorial Stadium against Illinois to begin the Big 10 schedule. Illinois is 3 - 1 and had a big win last week, 50-14, over Miami of Ohio. Their single loss to #19 Washington was close at 34 - 24. Let's see if Nebraska's simplified offense can be effective this weekend. The defense will have to step up as the Illini have averaged over 40 points per game so far this year. Nebraska has been installed as a 10-point favorite, which means little as the teams take to the field. Please join us for this early in the day game to start off your Saturday.

For the first time the highly coveted 6 letter Texas license plate with the University of Nebraska message, "HUSKER" is being auctioned to the highest bidder. The winner will own HUSKER for ten years, with first right of renewal thereafter. This is exclusively available at MyPlates.com. The auction is being conducted online until 12 noon on October 6th 2013.
