24 hours rule, that is what our team had. For 24 hours, you can be sad for the loss or win. After that, let's move on to game 3. To be honest, it took a much longer to get over it myself. But, the good thing is that our goals are still out there for us to achieve.
I listened to all the players and coach interview today. Basically, we are still young team and going through rebuilding. We have to be able to execute for 60 minutes and be able to deliver the knockout punch. We had the best Monday practice ever according to one of our captains. Coach Frost confirmed that.
Remember 2 years ago? When NIU celebrated our loss in memorial stadium and basically started everything lead to every change of athlete department. This week the Huskies come back to town. The Huskies hung well with No 10 Utah last week. We can not take them light. We need to close the game. We need offense to play a complete game and show line improvement before league games.
Game time is 7 pm which is the same as texas. If you are coming to watch party, please be sure to come 30 to 45 minutes early to take our reserved spots. Next game against Illinois is also a night game starts at 7PM while texas starts at 6:30. I will talk to managers at each location to find the best solution.
I want to get a readout at each site. I have been only at Third base. But would like to see if anything I can work with restaurant manager to improve our fan experience.
