It's KIckoff Time for the 2016 Husker Season this Saturday when Nebraska takes on Fresno State at Memorial Stadium. The long wait for more football is finally over. We are back at Third Base Northwest and Waller Creek Pub again this year, so the fun is familiar.
What is the outlook for this Husker team? This year's record should certainly be better than last season, when so many close games slipped away. The schedule is a mixed bag this year, with games against projected top 25 teams, Oregon, Ohio State, and Iowa. Currently Nebraska is bumping the bottom of the top 25, so the potential is there to get on the list. With a lot of returning players, the offense should be good. Can Nebraska slow down the other good teams? All this waits to be played out.
