Week one and important notice for future communication

Dear Fans, 

We are 5 days away from Huskers football return. The game is set in Dublin Ireland and game time is 11:30. We will have three watch locations, Thirdbase Round rock, Shiner's Salon downtown and Mel's Lone Star Lanes in Goergetown. 

One important update is that Matt Rasno is going to handle future emails and communications from account:  cotn@austinhuskerbar.com. Please make sure it is not blocked by you. 

Shiner's Saloon (5th and Congress) is hosting the downtown Austin Husker Bar again this season. With Jameson and Guinness stocked up, doors open at 11am for the 11:30am kick-off this Saturday. Sad news for our chapter

Our team performed well last game. Tonight's challenge will be much bigger. We are facing UMich who is a top 10 team. We hope we can continue the moment that we built last week and perform well.

Our team is playing a ranked MSU team at East Lancing. Game time is at 6PM. It is our first night game in a while. We saw huskers made great progress last week. We sure hope we can register the first road win against a ranked team since 2012.

Huskers football return

Hi Fans, 

It has been  a really strange year. Finally, we are getting close to a tough season opening game. This year, we will not have any official gathering due to safety concerns. Everyone is encouraged to have their small comfortable group watch at home or place of choice. Please enjoy the season and stay safe.

Jack Kubicek passed away

Hi fellow fans,   

With a very heavy heart, I was told that our charter's long time member Jack Kubicek passed away this morning. Jack was one of the few members started our local chapter and supported us through the time. He will be forever missed.

Virtual Spring Game

Hi Fans, 

I hope everyone is doing well. At this time, all we can do is to contribute our part to slow down the spread and taking care of our loved ones.  We are more than half way through the White House 30 days effort to slow down the spread. Let's be the best for our community.

A few days ago, the athletic department of UNL announced simulated spring game. Good thing is we have all stars teams for both Red and White. We are be able to see many familiar names like Wistrom, Gill, Steinkuhler, Peter, Crouch and Alberts. Only at this situation, day and age we will see them to play on the same field. I will be watching out for some trick plays like fumblerooski and Black41 Flash, if I were calling defensive plays :).

Nebraska Women Volleyball watch party and happy hour

Hi Fans,  Football season is over for us. But we can get together to cheer for our lady Huskers. Assuming we can win on Friday, then our team will advance to regional final. Regional final game is on Saturday 14th 5:00PM.
