Our chapter will receive a financial benefit from each member joining the Nebraska Alumni Association starting with the game this weekend and running through the last Big 10 Game. We receive $10 for each annual membership and $100 for each lifetime membership. We will have forms available at the watch parties to be used for application. Joining gives you priority on getting football tickets and you also enjoy all the other benefits of being an Association member.

We also have a request. We are looking for anyone returning from Nebraska in the next couple of weeks to transport some Fairbury Hotdogs down for our upcoming picnic on October 13. In the past we have found that frozen units wrapped in newspaper and placed in a small cooler transports just fine. Thanks to anyone who can help with this task.

A big Husker let down last weekend, so they should come back motivated this weekend to play more than a half game of offense and let's see no more of those 600+ yards against the defense.

The good news, this happened early in the season, and we won't talk about the bad news. Come on out to Cool River and watch with your fellow Huskers as Nebraska gets back on track.
