This week's game has a very early start, but it will leave most of the day free after the game to enjoy your other weekend activities. Great comeback last weekend that fell just a little short. The Huskers are just a few points short of an undefeated record. It's a new system under Mike Riley and the players are still adjusting. Tommy Armstrong has shown tremendous improvement, ranking second in the Big 10. The Southern MIssissippi Golden Eagles are 2-1 so far this season, winning their last game 56-50 over Texas State. The Huskers are banged up and will need a good effort to win this game.
Come on out and participate in cheering on the Huskers. We likely will have a raffle, the board with a chance of winning cash, and merchandise for sale. Great food, drinkks and service will be available from the Third Base staff. Please remember to act responsibly, respecting the Great Husker Fan Tradition of the best sportsmanship in the nation.
