Our annual contribution to the Nebraska Alumni fund goes to a number deserving students from our area attending the University of Nebraska. The funds we raise come from your annual payment of dues, our merchandise sales, our half time raffle, participation in our squares board, and a portion of your purchase of Nebraska logo'ed Texas License plates from MyPlates.com. We appreciate your support.
It is time to pay your annual dues of $20 per family ($15 if you are an NAA member). You can pay at a watch party, by mail, or via Paypal at cotnme.com. Thank you for being a paid member of the Capitol of Texas Nebraskans. We accept credit cards for all your purchases.
Please let us know what types of merchandise you would like to have us carry in our store available at each watch party and also available directly via special request. Just call if you need something.
For your Husker - Texas License Plates, go to MyPlates.com. A portion of the proceeds benefit our organization.
We will have our Squares board at each watch party for $1 per square. This is an easy way to help us out with the chance of being a big winner. Everyone who participates is already a winner.
A group out of the Dallas area chapter, the North Texas Nebraskans, are planning a trip to Chicago for the Northwestern game in Evanston. If you are interested, please contact Peter Marhoefer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We have a core member leaving the area (Thanks Holli for all your help) and others retiring from activity (Thanks Sheila and DIana for all your efforts over a long number of years). Let us know if you would like to join the Core Committee and help out with planning and assisting with our various events. Volunteers are always welcome as your help is appreciated. Running the squares board around the Watch party room is a great way to help out and allows you to get to know more of our members.
We have a particular need at our South location as we currently have no one to coordinate the activities at South Park Meadows. We would like to build this to the level we run up North, with merchandise sales, raffles, Squares board, etc., but we need help. We have material to get you started. It takes a few dedicated volunteers to really make this work. This is a chance to get in on the ground floor. I have been on watch party committees both here and in Dallas since the early 70's and always enjoy the chance to help out. Once a Husker, always a Husker.
Come on out and join us to kick off the new season for the Huskers. The team is returning a strong defense. Nebraska is ranked in the top 25 with a good chance of moving up as they move through their schedule.

Here’s the deal. Boggs has hit 118 home runs, the most ever by a major league player born in Nebraska. Gordon, who was born and still lives in Lincoln, ranks second with 115. Jackie Brandt is third with 112.
